It was quite & comfortable, family like feeling. The staff was very courteous and helpful. I didn't expect a breakfast but I am pleased to have a breakfast in the morning. It has all the basic features and facilities offered by some other big name hotels.

Location was reasonable for where we wanted to go
Price was high for room quality, and the neighbourhood seemed a bit worrisome

The room we had was in a construction zone: the staircase under construction, the hall under construction, with plenty of dust and dirt. The furniture in the room was very very old and the room was small and dark: a real hole. The motel is quite far from the centre of the city so that almost the only option is to get there by car because by bus it takes quite long. There is internet wifi but only for a few rooms next to reception. Breakfast was a weak coffee and a bagel that we had to take us to our room because there is not an specific place for meals. Even after all this the price is higher than in other cities in Canada for a establishment of this type.

The employees were extremely helpful in their job. Even went as fast as they could to ensure that I could change my reservation even though it was last minute and save me a bit of money.
I didnt have a bunch of complaints, other then the whole fact that Ottowa is non-smoking for hotels, but thats my own personal issue.

Location
Almost the same price as another larger motel nearby that had more facilities. Information made under comments on the reservation were not known by the motel clerk.

Our room was in the free-standing chalet section, and the room was a generous size.
Hotel in a state or renovation. A little far from town - $21 for a taxi home from main tourist eating & drinking area.

no one else was there but my wife and I
Musty smell in the room. Needs a good thorough steam clean and paint.

The only thing I liked was that it was near a Tim Hortons
I did not like the room, it was freezing! Slept with clothes on. It was not the cleanest room and smelt musty the whole time it was way too expensive for the quality we got will never stay there again

Rooms clean. Good value if you are not fussy. Convenient location if you are driving.
Exterior of building looked run down. Rooms were fine inside.

I was competing in a 24 hour track race at the Louis-Riel Dome on Bearbrook Drive. This Inn was the closest (within 5 min of the dome) and I considered the cost and cleanliness of room exactly what I was looking for in the Ottawa east end. This Inn still gives you quick access to the city and all it has to offer. I know, as I had resided south of Ottawa for 19 years, while serving in the Canadian Armed Forces.
The Inn is located on Montreal Road. This road has two lanes in each direction and separated by a boulevard. When making a west bound approach to the Inn entrance and parking, you must proceed past the Inn and double back on the east bound side. Traffic can be heavy at times, as the Inn is not far from a major intersection. The description about included breakfast is not a show stopper. But, one should know that it only consists of a minimal offering at front desk. Where, one would pick up and take back to room via outdoors. There are a ton of food venues nearby including Tim Hortons for those who need their 'coffee fix'!

When reserving I chose the recommended room with king-size bed and requested a cot for our teenage daughter (whom I had listed as an adult), but was told when we arrived that a cot was not available, could not be put in the room that we had requested and wasn't large enough for our daughter. Luckily we could be moved to another room with 2 double rooms.

Non professional staff. A/C was not working properly during the night time and there was no maintenance service available to fix up the problem. Request for one hour late check out was not acknowledged and were forced to leave the room on time otherwise pay extra money. Breakfast included only coffee donuts and muffins, no tea no bread butter and staff was quite rude to stick to their definition of continental breakfast.
